USA PRESIDENTIAL RACE 2024 DONALD TRUMP.VS. KAMALA HARRIS

 

BACKGROUND TO USA ELECTIONS

American citizens will be casting their vote on November 5th. 2024. This would be the popular vote. Although most people around the world, assume that this vote will determine who the next President will be, it technically does not.  It is really a vote for the state elector, who will cast their vote in the Electoral College on December 17th, .2024. The Electoral College is made up of 538 electors. This number is equal to the total voting membership of the US Congress – 435 House Representatives, 100 Senators and 3 electors of the District of Columbia. The candidate who receives at least 270 Electoral College votes becomes the next president.   There are issues that could happen in between, such as disputes, recounts, faithless electors ( electors who ultimately vote for someone other than for whom they pledged), etc. It could involve the courts depending on how serious it is.  This includes even the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS).  Once all is settled, the President will be decided, and the inauguration of the new President will take place on January 20th, 2025.

The following is a horoscopic analysis of the two candidates to be the President of the USA, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.  The first is a look at the natal chart to see if their given birth time matches the known careers of each candidate.  If there is a discrepancy, then the birth time will need to be rectified to get the correct horoscope.  Finally, the timing for each candidate will be examined, from the dates of popular vote, the Electoral College vote, and right up to the Inauguration.  This bears in mind that that the different dates can give different outcomes.

DONALD TRUMP

Donald Trump was born in New York city at 10.54 am 14^th June 1946.  His natal horoscope is shown in Chart 1 below.

 Donald Trump’s career can be seen from his 10^th house (career).

 Sun (1/10) -Sun ruler of the 1st house placed in the 10th house,

This indicates strong leadership qualities, authority, ambition, and a desire for recognition. This is critical leadership in any business, whether it is entrepreneurship, real estate, and government.  This is especially so, since the Sun represents the government, and a strong public presence.

 

Rahu (6,7/10) - Rahu (Moons North Node) ruler of the 6th and 7th house placed in the 10th house.

Rahu (Moons North Node) gives Trump a powerful career, who is capable of influencing the masses.  It also gives him insatiable career ambitions.  Rahu will give him a position of authority.

The 6^th house will give him wealth as it is an Artha (wealth) house.  There may be ups and downs in career, and enemies may stand in his way. Rahu also stands for foreign, so some of his enemies could be foreigners.  The 7^th house will give him strong partnerships and joint ventures in career,

Uranus points to a desire for independence, original, and revolutionary thinking.   This thinking can be valuable in positions aiming for change.  It could also manifest itself through alliances.

Kethu (4,9/A10) - Kethu (Moons South Node) ruler of the 4th and 9th house aspects the 10th house

Kethu exhibits an aggressive, Mars-like, behavior. Kethu as the ruler of the 4^th house suggests great success, and even and in the real estate market, as the 4^th house stands for the home.

The 9^th house suggests the law in career. Trump was known for his aggressive and sometimes controversial negotiation techniques. He often used the threat of litigation to his advantage and was not afraid to walk away from deals that didn't meet his terms. Trump's use of bankruptcy laws to restructure debt and protect his assets during financial downturns was a notable tactic. This allowed him to mitigate losses and preserve his business interests.

The 9th house refers to higher education, and it is a fact that he established Trump University, which was subject to many litigations.

With Saturn ruling the 7th house, partnerships, marriage, and one-on-one relationships are highlighted. The aspect to the 1st house suggests that relationships have a significant impact on the individual's self-identity and personal development. There might be a serious, committed approach to relationships, but also potential challenges or delays in this area.

Saturn's rulership of the 6th house brings a focus, work, and daily routines to the individual's identity and approach to life (1st house). The 6^th house refers to health.  Thus, there might be challenges related to health.  Rheumatism, arthritis, fractured bones, osteoporosis, and early ageing are among the illnesses associated with Saturn.  One of the keywords of Saturn is “old”, while 6^th house also stands for enemies.  Trump could face old enemies during this election. 

10^th House

Transit Uranus Rx (7/10)

Kamala Harris’s natal horoscope needs to be assessed to determine if it is indeed her correct horoscope as it is very cuspal.  This is despite the Rodden rating of AA given to her horoscope by Astro.com, which is a repository of astrological birth charts.  A Rodden rating of AA, means that this is a very accurate birth record given that the birth certificate is in hand.  However, it should be born in mind that this not be the case. Analog clocks and watches were used in the 1960’s, and may not have been accurately set to reflect the correct time. So, it is entirely possible that mistakes could have been made.

Kamala Harris was born at 9.28 pm 20^th October 1964 in Oakland, California, USA according to her birth certificate.  However, her ascendant at 0°10' Gemini in Vedic sideral astrology, using a Fagan Bradley ayanamsa, is very cuspal. A four-minute difference in her birth time would mean that her Ascendant would shift from Gemini to Taurus. This would give an entirely different reading for Kamala as the Ascendant marks the 1^st house, from which all other houses are read.  Thus, it is imperative that the correct Ascendant is determined before proceeding onto any readings on the 2024 Presidential election, for which she is a candidate.

CONCLUSION

While Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have powerful horoscopes, the timing favors Kamala. This is particularly so as her career (10^th house) and self (1^st house) are interconnected through the transit Uranus Rx (10/1) during the Election Day. She will face challenges during the Electoral College vote.  However, she will overcome this as her her transiting Saturn (9,10/10) would have done a return to her natal Saturn, which is also in the 10^th house.
